Welcome to the Seacoast NH USBC Association website.
The association maintains itself for the purpose of providing bowling news, awards and tournament information for the members it represents.
Association President’s Message:
I would like to thank all the officers and directors of the Board of Directors for carrying out the tasks for this year. They worked hard and contributed many ideas and suggestions for trying to promote bowling. We had great participation at meetings and our Association tournaments this year. The directors’ dedication and ability to work well together as a team has aided tremendously in the completion of another successful 2023/2024 bowling season. The Zoom meetings were run well and timely.
I would also like to thank Biggi Damm for doing a great job as the Association Manager. She did a great job of processing and distributing the awards and processing membership applications.
Lastly, I would like to thank the bowlers and centers for supporting our organization. With all your continued support, we had a successful fundraising campaign this year.
We are always looking for individuals who are willing to join the board and dedicate their time to keeping the association moving in the right direction. We are trying to find new ways to attract participation. Going forward, the Board of Directors: will continue to maintain the Registered Volunteer requirements. Thank you for going the extra step to complete the requirements prior to their expirations.
The association did well in communicating with the league secretaries and presidents this year. leagues. We are also available to work the youth on bowling activities. The responsibilities and duties of the board are currently managed by a few individuals, but we need involvement from the whole bowling community to keep the sport of bowling going forward, Please remember that helpers don’t have to be actual Board members! We welcome assistance from non-Board members whenever possible. We also need to find more ways to promote and boost our Association activities that we sponsosr for all of the bowlers.
Since we currently only have one bowling center in our Association, I hope that membership will continue to improve at Strikers East. There is also a Women’s Travel League recruiting members for the next season. Women from all around the State get together to bowl on one Sunday of the Month at different centers based on a rotation schedule. There is room for more teams.
It is imperative to remember that we need the support and participation from the bowling community to make 2024/2025 bowling season another successful year! New ideas and suggestions are always welcome!
Thank you,
Pam Cook
